How to Change the Icon of File Types With FileTypesMan
FileTypesMan is a utility that is similar to Windows Explorer. It is available from the "Start" menu and allows you to view the file types that are present in your system. It is more convenient than Windows Explorer, with its improved interface and more options for viewing different file types. The best thing about FileTypesMan is that it does not require you to specify which file type you want to view when browsing through files. Rather, you simply choose which one you want and it will display that file type to you.
Another great feature of FileTypesMan is its portability. You can use it on your laptop or desktop without installing anything. The main window displays a list of file types and extensions. There are grid lines for even and odd rows, and a list of actions for each type. After selecting the files that you want to view, you can click the Actions tab to find the right one. If you want to edit or remove a file extension, the FileTypesMan tool allows you to do that as well.
Once installed, FileTypesMan allows you to customize the icon for any file type. You can download the free version and run it. Select the file type you want to change. FileTypesMan will then open a window with options. The default icon will be displayed in the Default Icon field. Click the ellipsis icon to return to the previous file type. You can change the icon for any file type by following these steps.
